The CMA Foundation Healthy Canadians Grants Program

The CMA Foundation’s Healthy Canadians Grants Program is designed to provide support for community-run initiatives that improve the quality of life for patients and vulnerable populations living in those communities, thereby having a positive impact on the entire community.

The 2019 theme is youth mental health and substance use. With these grants, we’re aiming to make a tangible difference in the lives of youth, their families and the physicians who care for them.

2019 grants were provided to deserving organizations across Canada that are delivering programming at the community level and are focused on improving mental health, reducing and preventing substance use, increasing resiliency, reducing stigma and decreasing barriers to mental health.

15 grants of $20,000 were awarded across Canada. Read more about this year’s recipients here
