A rural and remote general surgeon, Dr. Alexander Poole has practised in the Yukon for 18 years. His background in engineering as well as medicine has fostered his interest in virtual care. He also has a research interest in frostbite and a passion for mountain medicine.
He served five years on the board of the Yukon Medical Association, two as president and CEO.
